1. The outdoor antennas should be installed at a height of 2 meters above the roof or in a high open place for better reception. Select the wireless network with a signal strength greater than 70% .

2. No or fewer obstacle between this AP and your weak signal destination to get a MAX signal!

How Does this WiFi Extender Work?

ATTENTION:

Ensure that you use a certified CAT5e/CAT6 Ethernet cable with RJ45 connectors.Make sure the length of the Ethernet cable from POE to the device is less than 60 meters（196 ft）.

Check Steps

1. Please try to upgrade the firmware.After upgrading,pls reset the device by pressing the reset button for 6s.(Firmware upgrading and resetting could solve many unexpected problem)

2. Please change the Ethernet cable which connect the poe and the device shown as below. Could this help?(To rule out the problem of the Ethernet cable)

3. If it is possible, pls change another dc12-24v power adapter or the poe converter.（To rule out the problem of the power adapter and the poe, If you do not have power adapter or poe, you could skip this step）

If this still could not help,please do not worry and tell us the information below when the device could not work as expected.

1. Pls tell us The led light status of the device.(Then we could confirm if the device work correctly)

2. Could you find the wifi signal of the device?

3. Could you log in the management page when you connect the lan port of the device and your pc via Ethernet cable?

4. Which mode you want to set it as? AP/repeater or router mode?（In ap/router mode,you should connect the wavlink device to the lan port of the host router/modem via Ethernet cable,in repeater mode,the wavlink device will build a wireless connection with the host router/modem）
